Pamper Routine

If there is one thing I could wish for it would be to be able to sort out my sleep routine because my god it’s not normal. I fall asleep at like two in the morning and then wake up at like seven….not very smart, not very healthy and it doesn’t make me feel great. However I do have a few tips and tricks I can use to help me fall asleep at a preferred time and I would love to share them with you but this is the one I’m going to share with you as well as a few products. I’v wanted to do this for a really long time but in my old house the lighting wasn’t very good in the bathroom but now, lucky me, I am finally able to show you a decent pamper routine.

To start I recommend using Himilayan pink salt or Epsom salts in your bath. If not bath bombs are always great choice particularly ones from lush.

These are some of my skin care favourites at the moment and if you haven’t figured it out already I’m kinda obsessed with Nip+Fab because its absolutely amazing. I start with the Soap&Glory vitamin C foaming cleanser which I have almost completely run out of. I follow it up with the Pure Essential facial scrub and lastly the Spa Sanctuary Cleansing balm; which by the way is the best decision I’ve made because it turned my skin from one flake away from completely cracking off to combination or at least hydrated dish.

I usually get pretty board around about this time because sitting I’m a mini pool which you can’t actually swim in isn’t going to be the time of my life. I usually watch a TV show on Netflix or youtube and sometimes a read a book on my kindle.

After the bath my skincare is pretty simple. For toner I use the Garnier Skin Active rose water toner which would probably be ten times more enjoyable if I hadn’t finished all my cotton pads. Then I use the Nip+Fab Bee Sting eye cream which actually sounds super weird but is nice and smells divine. I follow that up with the ever trusty Nip+Fab dragons blood fix plumping serum.

I use the Victoria Secret Pink 24K blush body lotion because it smells like heaven in a bottle.

Hope you found some products that may work for you and look forward to some upcoming posts!

Moving & Breaking My Computer

I am one of those people who can be super organised and within a second I can go from prepared to a complete mess. That is basically what happened when we moved house. Before we moved house everything was a bit of a mess and some how, don’t laugh, I broke my computer by sitting on the screen. Yes I know you must be thinking, how does that happen? but it did and it sucked not being able to blog for the amount of time that I wasn’t able. Luckily, in my case, Amazon is literally the best company in the frikin world and saved me by completely refunding the computer which like I don’t even get why because they know why my computer was broken.

I was very very excited to move for the sole reason that I was going to have a new room. If you know me you know I moved around my old room like a hundred times so having a new room made me less bored I guess. I must and I will do some sort of room tour or and organisation blog post (not that I’m very organised at the mo) but you guys seem to enjoy that sort of stuff so I will do it!

Thank you for reading!

First is this retro thrifted Maser zip jumper. I’m the kinda person who is super unlucky and never finds anything thrifting however one particular thrifting trip was super lucky and I found loads and this was one pieces I picked up. I haven’t had a ton of chances to wear it but I like to wear it with black skinny jeans and hoops.

I picked this amazing denim skirt up in Hong Kong from Cotton On which btw is an amazing shop I’m sad I didn’t get more stuff there because they had clothes, stationary and room decor it was really cool.

This is my current favourite clothing item in my wardrobe (I’m wearing right now bc I’m weird). I love it, I wear it with black skinny jeans and a beige denim jacket to dress it down or my stripy navy and white trousers from H&M. This top was bought on ASOS but it is actually from New Look.

Since I was like 12 I always had oily skin but this winter my skin has become very dry and not very nice to put makeup over top of but to combat the flakes, gross I know, I have been using this serum from NIP+FAB but I bought it in BOOTS however I have seen it on Amazing. If you have dry skin I highly recommend this. NIP+FAB is my favourite skin care brand.

Don’t laugh but a few months ago I had a ‘accident’ with my lash curler and gave an accidental trim to my top and bottom lashes. They were still there but a lil shorter. This was around the time I was in Hong Kong so I bought this from a drugstore but it’s from the brand Majolica Majorga. We always take care of our hair but we never do it with our lashes and this have given mine some much needed tlc. This is probably not the easiest thing to get a hold of but you can buy it online here.

Speaking of lashes the miss Baby Roll is probably one of the best mascaras I’ve used it lengthens and thickens the lashes and mine always look great with this mascara and I’m obsessed.

Lush, as you may have found out from my Lush haul, is great. In Hong Kong they had a lot of Lush’s so you can bet I went into everyone. Along with my Eau Roma Water, which you know I love, I also bought this. I’ve been using it every morning to exfoliate and plump my lips.

Once again NIP+FAB has crept into a favourites. I never wore blush but I bought this out of curiosity and it is really quite wonderful. My favourite is the bottom left one.

This is the BarryM fall in love eyeshadow palette which I have been rocking every chance I can get. I really like the orange and yellow colours from the palette. Whilst my camera can quite show the colours fully they are really pigmented.

Rosy Rosa brushes are by far the greatest, softest brushes I’ve ever used. I have this powder brush, this blush brush and lastly this eyeshadow brush. I really like them and they pick up a lot of pigment.

Lastly is this Lipsy tinted lip balm. Whilst I can appreciate a red lipstick sometime you just want a mild and subtle lip colour and this is it. I actually thought I picked up a burnt orange one as this was behind the burnt orange tester but stupid me isn’t that smart and I didn’t check. However it is very much ok as I’m in love with this red!

This ring from Pandora was a christmas present from my mum. I had been eyeing up a few different Pandora rings but this one really stood out to me so I asked for it for christmas and I’m so glad I did because I really love it.

Last but not least is this perfume from Zoella Beauty. Although its supposed to be a winter scent I’m still obsessed and I will still wear it all year round because I love it.

Sadly our time together has come to and end :(. See you next week for another post!

The City Of Dreams.

Hong Kong is possibly one of the most beautiful places I’ve been too and trust me I’ve been to many places. I’m sure for a lot of people if you’ve never been there it just seems like another one of those cities like New York or London. While I can’t speak for New York, I think Hong Kong is very different. I’ve been there before but at the age of 5 you don’t really take much in and realise the beauty of a city or country. There wasn’t one place that I went in Hong Kong that didn’t impress me. The architecture in a place so different from my home is astounding and it really is a gorgeous place.

IMG_1407

It was beautiful but the one downside was the two flights, one being twelve hours. Although flying as you guys may know is one of those things I prefer not to do I’ve come to the realisation that there is no point being scared as I take roughly six flights a year. I also think that is such a privilege to be able to travel as much as I do and I don’t want to not be enjoying something when some people would kill to do it as much as I can.

The second I stepped out of the airport I was impressed and the whole taxi ride to my aunt and uncles home I was looking out the window up at all the high rise buildings. One of my favourite things about Hong Kong was that you could go from being in an area with tall high rise buildings and then in an area surrounded by trees and forest.

I our five day stay we did a lot of eating. Where I live we don’t have a lot of asian restaurants which for me, a lover of Korean food, this is very disappointing. Where I live we have like a couple Thai and Chinese take out restaurants but TBH they aren’t amazing. We went to Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Malaysian and korean restaurants in Hong Kong. They were all amazing as my aunt and uncle have been living there for about ten years so they know where to go and what to eat.

If you ever get the chance to go, go there is something there for everybody and it is somewhere that I could see myself living. I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a trip as much as I enjoyed this one. I hope to go again one day.
